Sarah & Carlos June Wedding Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham, MA

The first time Sarah, Carlos and I met in person, we admitted to one another that we were really excited to work together. We just knew we’d hit it off.

This was such a great day on all fronts. Fun people, DIY goodness, great vendors, sweet friends and family, and a killer dance floor. I feel so lucky to have been there.

Carly & Brandon's Private Elopement in the Arnold Arboretum Jamaica Plain Boston, MA

Carly & Brandon's intimate elopement at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston. A perfect private vow exchange under a big tree followed by a lot of laughs.

Ainsley & Anderson's Pandemic Elopement at Quincy City Hall in Quincy, MA

Anderson DM’d me on Instagram three days before their wedding, asking if I was available to photograph their elopement. We had met when I photographed their engagement at the end of 2018. They had to postpone their big wedding celebration for a year due to COVID-19, but - as Ainsley so succinctly put it - “We were really ready to be married.”

So happy to get to be there for one of the most joyful unions.

Andrea & Eric, Funky Arlington Town Hall Wedding

After Andrea and Eric hired me for their wedding, Andrea added me on Instagram - and I instantly became their biggest fan. They are truly hilarious, kind, and so in love. We spent their engagement shoot sauntering around Union Square in Somerville, they canoodled for a bit in the chip aisle of Market Basket, and we took one of my favorite shots in front of a closed pizza and sub shop.

Their wedding was just as wonderful - and food-centric. Chips (of Lays, Cheeto & Dorito varieties) lined the guests’ tables, a stack of Oreos accompanied the wedding cake, and Mei Mei’s meals were unbelievable.

Andrea and Eric’s families were so inviting, their first look made me cry, and their first dance was the most memorable (and most difficult to photograph) yet.

Thanks for always making me laugh, Andrea & Eric. I was completely thrilled to be a part of your day.

Amanda & Parker's One Night Only Music-Themed Wedding Spectacular at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Amanda & Parker's One Night Only Music-Themed Wedding Spectacular at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Amanda & Parker's One Night Only spectacular took us through the streets of Portsmouth, to the Wilder bar for perfect light, to their ceremony and their magnificent mid-ceremony cocktail, to a perfect first song performance, to a night of hilarious toasts and wild dancing. One Night Only and Then Forever - definitely one to remember.

Mora & Daniel, Magical Elopement in the Woods @ Duxbury, MA

Mora and Daniel’s plans for a large wedding got to be too much. They decided to call it off. Then, last-minute, they opted to pack a picnic, grab their family and closest friend, and head off into the woods in Duxbury, MA for a perfect New England elopement. Their friend made the bouquet and (delicious) cake and officiated the ceremony. Their children helped carry the picnic supplies through the woods and hid their eyes as Mora & Daniel kissed. The day was the happiest kind, as evidence by all of the laughter below.

Mora & Daniel - Thanks for including me on such a special day. It was one of my favorites.

Katelyn & Michael, Wedding @ The River Club in Scituate, MA

When Katelyn, Michael and I got together for their engagement photos, she wore a floppy hat that he had surprised her with and spontaneously decided to bring a bouquet of flowers as a prop. They thanked me numerous times afterwards, saying how wonderful it was that the two of them just got to hang out and appreciate one another and their love for an hour. Their wedding day was, unsurprisingly, a wonderful celebration of that genuine emotion.

Angie & Steve, Wedding @ Tinkhamtown Chapel (Mattapoisett) and Black Walnut Inn (Plympton)

I have been talking about this wedding just about non-stop since October. Still, the only words I can come up with to describe are “a complete dream.” A heartfelt, intimate ceremony in the cutest little chapel followed by a warm, happy, twinkle light-lit outdoor reception (in mid-October!). When I mentioned to Steve how incredible everything looked, he attributed it to his wife, Angie. He said that she has a vision of how things should look, then puts in all the hard work to make that vision a reality. I think it really paid off on this day in particular. Congratulations Angie & Steve!
