Give me a floral-themed day swirling around my favorite venue any day.
These two are so incredibly sweet. To each other, to their friends, to their vendors. We had a dream team and a day of pure joy, non-stop celebration despite the heat.
A month following Julie & Bryan’s brilliant day, The Herb Lyceum Carriage House burned down. I had been a guest at a farm to table dinner there just days before the fire. I love that spot and have been so lucky to get to be there a few times each season.
And now, while I post this, LA is engulfed in wildfires.
It feels a little strange to post and promote my work amid all of this heartbreak and pain. While considering what to do, it occurred to me that this marketing and this work enables me the financial stability and ability to support these places in their times of need, as well as a platform to share resources with others. So, thank you for that.
